I use my own photographs as reference for my paintings in order to capture a moment in time. I love to create a narrative, especially one which incites mystery and intruige.  I capture this in paint and leave the viewer to fill in the beginning and end to the story.

Oil paint offers a fantastic array of warm colour and its vibrancy never fades. I layer the paint in a loose way, building up a cinematic composition of visual contrasts and interior perspective.
